First International Exhibition of Artistic Photography "MOTUS 2024"
The Association for promotion of intellectual, multicultural and sports values – MOTUS from Kumanovo, through its Photo Club – MOTUS, organized its first International Exhibition of Artistic Photography "MOTUS 2024" from Thursday, December 26, 2024, to January 22, 2025, at the “Trajko Prokopiev” Cultural Center in Kumanovo.
A total of 150 authors from 44 countries submitted entries to the competition, with 1,726 photographs submitted across three categories:
Theme A – Monochrome
Theme B – Color
Theme C – Nature
From the total number of submitted works, the jury selected 508 photographs by 130 authors from 41 countries.
The jury was consisted of:
Dejan Angelovski (F1FSM, AFIAP – North Macedonia)
Borislav Milovanović (EFIAP/D2, ESFIAP, MPSA, EDIPA/P, GPU CR4 – Serbia)
Samir Zahirović (EFIAP/b, KMFAUFBiH – Bosnia and Herzegovina)
A total of 54 photographs were displayed in the exhibition.
The exhibition was funded by the Municipality of Kumanovo, through its 2024 Cultural Events Support Program, and held under the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP 2024/483), the Photographic Association of Macedonia (FSM 2024/06), and the International Photography Association DUNAVE (DIPA 2024/36).
The exhibition was officially opened on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 7:30 PM, at the “Trajko Prokopiev” Cultural Center in Kumanovo.
