Successfully opened the First Exhibition of Art Photography, “PHOTO POINT”  in Vinica

On June 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM, the First Exhibition of Art Photography “PHOTO POINT” was officially opened at the exhibition hall of the House of Culture “Tosho
Arsov” in Vinica. The exhibition was organized by the Association for the Promotion of Intellectual, Multicultural, and Sports Values - MOTUS and Photo Club MOTUS.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the Photographic Union of Macedonia (FSM), and the
Danube International Photographic Association (DIPA), which represents significant recognition of the quality and international character of this photographic event.
“PHOTO POINT” was organized in three sections: Section A – Open (Monochrome and Color), Section B – Portrait, and Section C – Nature, attracting considerable
interest from photographers worldwide. A total of 216 authors from 50 countries participated in the exhibition, submitting 2,436 photographs. Following the selection
process, the international jury composed of Borivoje Milovanovic (Serbia), Nenad Martic (Croatia), and Gligor Maksimovski (Macedonia) accepted a total of 986
photographs.
The jury awarded the title of FIAP Best Author to István Kerekes from Hungary, while the DIPA Best Author distinction was awarded to Maurizio Trifilidis from
Italy.
The following authors from Macedonia received awards:
- Stefan Nikolic, in Section A, received a DIPA Honorable Mention for the
photograph “LOVE STORY”;
- Mirza Chengic, in Section B, received a DIPA Honorable Mention for the
photograph “STOJKA”;
- Dimche Korunoski, in Section B, received an FSM Honorable Mention for the
photograph “EL GVAJOS”;
- Anita Palcheska, in Section B, received a SALON Honorable Mention for the
photograph “DARKO”; and
- Mimoza Cholak, in Section B, received a SALON Honorable Mention for the
photograph “MARKET VENDOR”.
At the opening ceremony, all awarded photographs were exhibited, offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy a variety of artistic approaches, themes, and photographic
techniques.
With the realization of this exhibition, Vinica once again confirmed its role as an important center for cultural and artistic events, while “PHOTO POINT” has
established itself as a new platform for international cooperation, exchange of experiences, and the promotion of artistic photography.
The organizers have a clear vision for this exhibition to grow into a recognizable cultural brand and a hallmark of Vinica, contributing to the promotion of the city at
both national and international levels. At the same time, the exhibition aims to serve as a significant promoter of artistic photography, encouraging photographic creativity,
international cooperation, and the development of photographic culture among the wider public.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until June 15, 2026, providing all photography enthusiasts with an opportunity to view the exhibited works and become
acquainted with contemporary trends in international photographic art.
